Meet Our Team

Dr. Ashley Rath - Chiropractor

Health at an Early Age
I consider myself a home-grown farm girl. I am originally from Belgrade, MN where I grew up on an organic dairy farm. Yes, I know how to drive a tractor, milk cows, throw little square bales, and pick rocks. J Growing up on an organic dairy farm absolutely contributed to my health filled lifestyle. Not only did we get to eat fresh organic veggies out of the garden and be able to play outside for countless hours, my parents also brought us to a get chiropractic adjustments. As an infant, I was colicky. From infancy to now an adult, I have experienced the positive side effects and benefits of getting adjusted and living a vibrant life. I love what chiropractic has done for me and my family and cannot wait to share that with you!

Advanced Education
I completed my pre-chiropractic studies at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND before continuing on to Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, MN.

I graduated from NWHSU with my Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology degrees. Because I have a strong passion in whole family health and wellness, I completed all of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) classes and am certified to perform the Webster Technique.

I am an active and proud member in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and Willmar Chamber of Commerce.

Outside the Office
As you get to know me, you will come to find that family is my number one priority! Spending time with my hubby, Ty and sons Henry and Bo is my ultimate favorite. I love to do yoga, meditate, and dig in the garden (if the mosquitos aren’t horrible). We also love to go back to the farms we grew up on to help drive tractor, ride around in the Ranger, or just be outside. Another happy place of mine is being outside with a cup of coffee and a great book. Self –development, financial, business, and relationship books are my favorite. The lakes of Minnesota treat us awesome, as I love to go boating and fishing, especially on Upper Red Lake where we ‘slay’ the wall mounter walleyes.

I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our site. Our office is dedicated to serving you and your families.  If you are wondering, “Can chiropractic help me? Or my kiddo?” the answer is most likely a strong, “YES!” We are excited to answer any question you may have and help you to a healthier life!

Dr. Haley Reeves - Associate Chiropractor

My name is Haley Reeves, and I grew up in an eastern suburb of St. Paul. After finishing high school, I attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where I received a degree in Biology with a focus in Biochemistry. Following my undergraduate studies, I continued my education at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where I recently received my Doctorate in Chiropractic with sports emphasis.

I was initially introduced to chiropractic at 5 years old when I would accompany my parents to their regular appointments. As I grew older, I continued with chiropractic care to help manage migraine headaches and various injuries sustained while playing hockey and lacrosse. From that point on I have been a walking testament for the benefits of chiropractic care and have since devoted my career to help others in their wellness journey.

I am extremely passionate about holistic health and the concept of innate intelligence – the body’s ability to heal itself. I have a genuine enthusiasm for treating patients both young and old, with specific interests in athletes, children, and pregnant women.

When I am not treating patients, I can be found with my fiancé, Hayden, fishing and exploring local breweries. I also enjoy jeopardy-esque trivia, art, cooking, and learning new skills.

I am elated to work with Dr. Ashley and her team at Family Roots Chiropractic, and I can’t wait to meet the great people of Spicer and its surrounding communities!

Lauren Tonn - Care Advocate

I am a rural, central Minnesota girl at heart. I grew up in the BBE area and my family and I call Belgrade home. Prior to joining Family Roots Chiropractic, I worked as a CNA, PCA, and paraprofessional within different settings and had the privilege of helping others find independence and quality of life for themselves.

I have been married to my handsome hubby Corey since 2015 and we have since had 3 beautiful girls. Aubree is five years old and our wise, sensitive soul. Charlotte is two and our fierce, independent middle child. Hadlee is 8 months old and she seems to be our mellow, gentle girl and completes our family perfectly.

Outside of Family Roots Chiropractic, I love spending time with my family. You’ll often find me listening to great music while enjoying a good beer. I’m learning to enjoy spending more time outside as my children grow and force me out of my comfort zone.

My life with chiropractic began after I had our first daughter Aubree. We struggled through her first months of life with nursing challenges, torticollis, sleepless nights, and an overwhelming sense of discouragement and failure. I found Family Roots before Dr. Ashley had even opened the office and took a leap of faith and set up appointments for Aubree and myself.

We began our journey as patients in the office and I knew it was exactly what we needed. Aubree’s body began to calm, nursing improved, the thought of sleep was in sight, and I began to find confidence in myself as a mom and the new human that I had become.

It didn’t take long before I knew that this was what I wanted to do. This was my purpose. I wanted to help as many moms as I could find the peace, confidence, and hope that I had found in Family Roots Chiropractic. Just a few months after finding FRC as a patient, I had the honor of joining the team and it is one of the best changes I have ever experienced.

Family Roots Chiropractic is so much more to me than a chiropractic office. It has become a family, a place of hope, and a way of life and I am so honored to be a part of it.
